All these long hot summer days got me thinkin bout cooler times. Better weather, with a frozen haze hanging low like a cold blanket, laid out by God to let us know the seasons still change.
Faster and faster these days go it seems. Time was slower when I was a kid, it’s strange.
I look in the mirror, I still see me, but, I look older now. More miles, fewer hairs, and a few wrinkles here and there.
A few hard times and a whole lot of good ones. That’s what makes life feel like seasons in the end. Change isn’t always good, it’s not always bad. But in the end, I’d you let it, you’ll have one hell of a story to tell of how you made it.
