Time for some book reviews!

I’ve been wanting to do book reviews on here for awhile now, I just haven’t taken the time to do so. I read a fair amount, probably 30-40 books a year. So reading book reviews is something that I often find myself doing. One thing I’m not a fan of is when someone goes on Apple Books or wherever they like to review and completely bash a book and the writing. Why? We’ll because to me it’s the equivalent of the out of shape former high school football player watching a game on Sunday and the quarterback makes a bad throw and he says “come on! You suck, I could literally do better!”

Really? Because to me it looks like he’s the one on the field and you’re at home on the couch. That’s what I see when I read a book review by someone who may or may not have ever had the courage to put themselves out there by writing something for the world to read.

So, my goal in reviewing certain books I read won’t be to bash. It will simply be to inform of what I liked about it and what I didn’t like (in a nice-opinion sort of way).

Follow me along as I begin to review different things. And if you have any recommendations, feel free to comment below and I’ll put them on a list! Thanks reading and taking this journey with me!
