No Moon

Cold afternoon, warm coffee
Reading on the porch while you
Work.
The sun hides behind clouds and the shade is eerily similar to darkness, cold and empty.
That’s what the world without you would be, cold and empty
You are everything that is bright and warm and happy.
Without you there would be no sun and with no sun there is no moon.
That’s me without you.
